A news have made the people scared about a suicidal man that decided to jump into death's door. Franco Luis Ferrada Roman, a 20-year-old man, throwed himself into the pen, stark naked and provoked the lions to attack him.
Gaining the attetion of the two animals, the lions started to 'play' with the man. Their 'play' didn't last as the lions fiercely pummel over him.
This shocked the people who were present. There were witnesses that said that when the man was being attacked, he was shouting about religious things.
According to Alejandra Montalva, the zoo director: "We believe that this person entered as a visitor and paid for his ticket.
"Later he trespassed into an area where the pulic are not normally allowed and we understand that he forced the roof of the lion's enclosure."
"It was from there that h jumped, took off his clothes and started to attract the lions."
At that moment, the zookeepers shot the lions to death to save the man's life. It was a great loss of the lions' death but of course, it is their main priority for people's proctection.
The man was taken to a hospital and was reported that he will be recovering soon enough. It was then discovered that the man had a suicide note in his clothes.
In every zoo, everyone is expected to be cautious with animals. You can see signs of don't do this or don't do that.
Rather than complain, it's better to incline yourself to follow the guidelines. Afterall, you can never know what might happen so it's better to avoid any harm.
Although some don't listen and end up in a bad situation. Let this be a lesson and always think for your safety.
