Claudia Barreto, the latest in the showbiz family to venture into the industry, has never denied being in a relationship. Unlike most of her peers who always say "focus po muna ako sa career," the 17-year-old was quick to say that she had has had a boyfriend for 2 years now. The lucky guy? Basti Lorenzo.
Claudia has been quoted as saying that she and Basti are just like any other teen couple: "We're just like every other couple. We go out. We go on dates. We hang out at each other's houses. It's super normal." However, things may not be as normal as Julia Barreto's sister is claiming.

For one thing, Basti is seriously wealthy. For another, many girls may have a boyfriend who plays basketball for fun, but Claudia can say that she has a pro-golfer boyfriend. Now that's classy.
Basti's father is Martin Ignacio Paez Lorenzo. He is part of the Lorenzo Group of companies, as well as chairman and president of Pancake House Inc. According to Inquirer, he has also "put up and/or acquired" the following companies: "Dencio’s in 2004, Terriyaki Boy in 2005, Sizzlin’ Pepper Steak in 2007, Kabisera ng Dencio’s in 2008, Le Coeur de France in 2008, Yellow Cab and Chicken Rice Shop in 2011."

Del Monte Philippines and Lapanday Foods was also owned by Basti's grandfather. Both companies are now being managed by his eldest aunt.
So, as you can see, though their relationship may be very normal for Claudia, her boyfriend is very far from the regular kind.
