The family of soon-to-be newlyweds Sharon Price and Andy Price caught the shocking result of their practice for a wedding performance on video. The couple wanted to recreate the famous dancing move in the movie, 'Dirty Dancing.' But who would've thought that such harmless fun would bring the two to the hospital?
In a Weston-Super-Mare pub beer garden, Sharon and Andy excitedly practiced the move but they knocked each other cold. At first, their family thought they were joking but the injuries turned out to be serious.
The move involves the man lifting his partner high off the air with his hands. Sharon and Andy watched the movie 30 times now and wanted to include this iconic move in their wedding.
The couple thought it would be okay to practice the move in the park where they were hanging out.
The practice run took a terrible turn when the pair collided and Andy, 51, was knocked unconscious. Sharon Price struggled to breathe and was bruised. Realizing that the pair were not joking about their situation, their family took them to the hospital.

Talking about the incident, this is what Sharon Price had to say:
"I have always loved Dirty Dancing and it is one of my all time favorite films. We were in the beer garden and my niece and nephew were messing around trying to do the lift."
"So I looked at Andy and suggested that we have it as our first dance at our wedding. We immediately set about trying to recreate that iconic moment. But it's fair to say it didn't go to plan. When I ran at Andy he tried to lift me, but we just collided. At first our family thought we were just messing about but they soon realized we had actually really hurt ourselves."
The paramedics were worried about Andy's situation but Sharon claims that both are fine, although they still had injuries. When she told the doctors what had happened, they laughed.

Sharon recounted that she heard paramedics say that her fiance was "going in and out of consciousness."
Although she loves the movie, Sharon says that they might just go with a traditional slow dance for the wedding.
