Did you know that a grandmother who resides in Macalelon, Quezon has her own twin snake? It may be shocking but it’s true!
She has the ability to cure people who are bitten by animals and it is speculated that she may have the power to do so because of a snake that was “born” with her.
ABS-CBN News’ YouTube account released a video of the whole report in their morning show ‘Umagang Kay Ganda’, where a certain Lola Conchita “Conching” Elcabo was said to have a twin snake.
Kapitan Epitacio Ayangco confirmed the healing powers of Lola Conching when he retold a story that happened to one of her patients.
According to him, a woman was bitten by a snake and was left in a terrible state. All of the people who knew her case thought she was going to die but when she was brought to Lola Conching, she was immediately cured.
Lola Conching reportedly sucked out all of the venom in the woman’s blood.
The locals in their town relayed that the old woman was born in an isolated place in Dolores, Eastern Samar on April 1915.

“Paglabas ng ganoon, nakita nila eh, meron rin daw inunan. Kulay puti daw noong lumabas ‘yung ahas. White snake siya,” Alicia Peregrine said, the daughter of Lola Conching.
Alicia narrated that her grandfather didn’t throw away the snake and instead, requested for them to take care of it.
Lola Conching said that while her mother was pregnant with her that time, the latter would always be happy whenever she sees snakes.
“’Pag nakakita ng maliit na ahas… linalagay niya sa garapon. Kaya siguro siya nagkaroon ng anak na ahas,” Lola Conching figured.
Alicia saw her mother’s supposed twin when she was on Grade 5. The snake was named Juanda. “Ang mukha nun ay tao e. Wala siyang buhok, talagang makinis lang ang ulo niya,” Lola Conching said.

According to Alicia, “May ano siya, may pangil. Tapos ‘yung dila niya… ang mata niya, maganda! Ang mata niya kulay gray! Kaya kahit tumingin sa’yo, hindi naman talaga totally na matatakot ka agad eh!”
