If you have been watching the longest-running noontime program Eat Bulaga, you may have noticed that Jose Manalo has been absent from the show. People have been speculating that the host was axed from EB.
According to a report by Bandera, Jose was suspended by Tape, Incorporated, the production company behind the program, because he was always late at Juan For All, All For Juan segment.
On the contrary, a report by PEP claimed that the comedian-host in just on vacation leave. Last week, July 6, Ms. Malou Choa-Fagar, senior vice president and chief operating officer of TAPE Inc., clarified why Jose had been absent from the show through a text message.
"He is on vacation leave," Ms. Malou told GMA News. She also noted that Jose will be back to the noontime show this month.

Ms. Malou also reiterated Jose’s absence to The Philippine Daily Inquirer, and that rumors about him missing aren’t true.

“Jose’s not suspended. He’s on leave,” Fagar told the Inquirer.
Apparently, a ‘punching’ incident which involved Jose and Wally circulated online and this was debunked by the TV executive.
“Not true! Grabe the chismis!” Ms. Malou said.
