Pacquiao acknowledges those who never failed to support him in all his bouts. After his battles, he earns a huge amount which he wholeheartedly distributes some to those who are in need. He has given more than a thousand homes for the poor and built multiple businesses to give a source of income to the people in his hometown.
Foreigners love Pacquiao for his genuine will to help, faith, humor and the way he fights fearlessly. Telegraph mentioned that it was because Manny was poor before that’s why he wants to do something about poverty.
Pacquiao said:“Poverty does not make me angry. But it makes me feel bad inside, and I want to help. I want the people of the Philippines to be happy, even if they have nothing. Even if they can just have enough to eat food three times a day. I feel so bad because God gave us everything to live in this world, so why don’t we share with other people?”
He knows what it’s like to be in their shoes that’s why he wants to take them out of their unfortunate situation. He especially treasures his fans who are inspired by his legacy. Aside from his name being known in the sports scene, he also wants to leave a mark in helping people in need.
