It seems that wedding bells are just around the corner for Kaye Abad. The 34-year-old actress recently got engaged with her boyfriend, Paul Jake Castillo.
Entertainment writer Darla Sauler was able to capture the sweet moment and upload it online. It shows how Paul Jake was asking Kaye for her hand in marriage.
"We started off as friends tapos naging partner in crime kita, best friend, tapos hindi mo talaga napigilan at ginawa mo akong boyfriend. Now I'd like to seal it," he said. "Will you marry me?"
The marriage proposal took place at a helipad in a high rise building in Alabang, Paul Jake's surprise birthday party for Kaye who turned 34 last Tuesday.
A lot of Kaye's friends, including John Prats and comedian Pooh, were quick to congratulate the actress. They also posted their own videos on Instagram.
John Prats claims: "Congrats [Kaye Abad]! Napakasaya ko natupad na hinihintay mo," wrote Prats. Sure ako na magiging masaya kayo. Mahal namin kayo ni [Isabel Oli]. May God bless the two of you. Sisiguraduhin ko na a-attend ako sa wedding ninyo kung hindi ka magkuripot sa headcount."
Celebrity stylist Patty Yap also uploaded a photo of Kaye and Paul Jake during the marriage proposal. It has a caption which reads: "Soooo happy for you mars [Kaye Abad]! Iyak ako ng iyak! Priceless ang reaction mo dito! Pinatunayan mo na totoo ang fantaserye! Iniisip mo ba kung ilang carat yung singsing? Chos! Happy ako sa inyong dalawa!"
It can be remembered that both admitted that they are in a relationship last April 2014. Kaye was also caught saying in an interview that she will not have second thoughts in saying yes if ever Paul Jake proposes to her.
